Mother of Mabel and Anthony
Founding member of the first GSA (then Gay Straight Alliance) on Long Island
Master of Ceremonies for the 2025 Disability Advocacy Day at the Minnesota Capitol.
Testified and advocated for a bill that encourages anti-ableism training taught by a person with a disability for all teachers seeking licensure or renewal.
Met with Minnesota’s 8 House members and 2 Senators to discuss the legislative priorities of the National PTA.
Author of a bill that would make covering Augmentative and Alternative Communications Devices mandatory by private insurance.

Changed city policy so that any Bloomington public park with a porta-potty will be ADA accessible
